Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Hampas ("Hampas", "we", "our", or "us"), you agree to these Terms of Use and any policies referenced in the service, including our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the service.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the service complies with applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally permitted to use online services and enter into a binding agreement under applicable law. If you are not old enough to do so independently, you may use Hampas only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

You may need to create an account to access certain features. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your account secure, and accept responsibility for activity associated with your account.

You may register using supported authentication methods, including Google or Apple sign-in. Your use of those services is also subject to the applicable provider's terms and policies.

You may not impersonate another person, create accounts for abusive or fraudulent purposes, or allow unauthorized access to your account.

Hampas features

Hampas provides tools for organizing and joining matches, recording scores, viewing rankings and statistics, managing clubs and events, tracking sports gear, sharing match information, and interacting with other players.

Some features use your device location, camera, photo library, media storage, or notifications only after the relevant permission is granted. You may decline optional permissions, but the related feature may not work.

Match, ranking, location, event, and achievement information is provided for community and recreational use and should not be treated as an official sporting record unless expressly stated otherwise.

Community conduct and safety

Users must interact respectfully and may not harass, threaten, impersonate, abuse, exploit, stalk, or harm other users.

Content or conduct that is unlawful, offensive, misleading, sexually explicit, hateful, discriminatory, fraudulent, dangerous, or intended to disrupt the service is prohibited.

Spam, unauthorized advertising, malicious activity, attempts to bypass security, and exploitation of bugs or other users are not allowed.

You may use available reporting and blocking tools to report inappropriate users, content, clubs, events, matches, or locations. We may investigate reports and take action at our discretion.

User-generated content

You retain ownership of content you submit to Hampas, including profile information, biographies, images, club and event information, match records, feedback, and other user-generated content.

By submitting content, you grant Hampas a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit, and process that content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.

You are responsible for ensuring that your content is accurate where appropriate and does not violate any law, privacy right, intellectual property right, or other right of another person.

We may remove, restrict, preserve, or review content when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, respond to reports, protect users, preserve match integrity, or comply with law.

Match integrity and fair play

Users may not manipulate rankings, submit fraudulent match results, create fake activity, exploit bugs, abuse match or event systems, or otherwise interfere with the fairness and integrity of Hampas.

Hosts and participants are responsible for reviewing match details and scores before confirming them.

Hampas may review, remove, correct, invalidate, or restrict match records, rankings, achievements, statistics, events, clubs, or accounts involved in suspected abuse, cheating, fraud, or policy violations.

Repeated or serious violations may result in temporary restrictions, suspension, or permanent removal from the service.

Location, venues, and in-person activities

Location and venue information may be supplied by users or third-party mapping services and may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unavailable.

You are responsible for confirming venue details, obtaining any required permission to use a venue, following venue rules, and exercising appropriate judgment when meeting or participating in activities with other users.

Hampas does not supervise matches, clubs, events, venues, or in-person interactions and is not responsible for injuries, property damage, disputes, cancellations, or conduct occurring during offline activities, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Advertising

Free or non-subscribed users may see banner, interstitial, or other advertisements supplied by Google AdMob or other advertising providers.

Advertising availability and personalization may depend on your region, device settings, consent choices, and applicable law. Where required, the app presents advertising privacy choices before requesting ads and provides a way to review those choices.

Hampas does not control the content or availability of every third-party advertisement and does not endorse products or services merely because they appear in the app.

Paid subscription benefits may include an ad-free experience, subject to the description shown when you purchase the subscription.

Subscriptions and billing

Some Hampas features may require a paid subscription. Plans and included benefits are displayed in the app and may be offered on a monthly or yearly basis.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.

Payments, renewals, billing, subscription status, cancellations, and refunds are processed by Apple or Google and supported through RevenueCat. These transactions are also subject to the applicable store and provider terms.

Deleting your Hampas account does not automatically cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription. You must cancel the subscription through the store account used for the purchase.

We may change future subscription features, pricing, or availability where permitted by law. Changes do not override rights provided by the applicable app store or consumer law.

Intellectual property

The Hampas name, branding, logos, designs, software, interface elements, and platform content other than user-generated content are owned by Hampas or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, scrape, sell, sublicense, or exploit protected parts of the service except as permitted by law or with prior written permission.

Account deletion, suspension, and termination

You may request account deletion using the in-app account deletion feature. Your profile will be deleted or de-identified, but match history involving other users may remain under a label such as "Deleted Account" to preserve shared records and competitive integrity.

We may suspend, restrict, investigate, or terminate an account if we reasonably believe the user violated these Terms, abused the platform, harmed another person, or created legal, security, fraud, or operational risk.

Termination may result in loss of access to profiles, clubs, events, rankings, achievements, gear records, or other account features. Store-managed subscription rights remain subject to Apple or Google policies.

Third-party services

Hampas relies on third-party services such as Supabase, Expo, Google, Apple, RevenueCat, Google AdMob, and Google Maps Platform. Their services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for third-party services, content, outages, policy changes, or actions beyond our reasonable control.

Service availability and changes

Hampas may evolve over time, and features, rankings, subscriptions, advertisements, integrations, or availability may change.

Some features may be experimental, incomplete, or released as beta functionality.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that all information, notifications, rankings, locations, or integrations will always be accurate, complete, or error-free.

Disclaimers

Hampas is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, remedies, or rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hampas and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the service.

This includes loss of rankings, match history, content, account access, reputation, profits, subscription access, or interruptions related to the platform or third-party services.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where the mandatory laws of your jurisdiction apply.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required by law.

Continued use of the service after revised Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
